There are nine cemetery districts in Plumas County.  The Commission has completed municipal service reviews and Sphere of Influence updates for each of the districts and is presently in the process of consolidating six of the districts - Quincy LaPorte Cemetery District with Meadow Valley Cemetery District, Cromberg Cemetery District with Mohawk Valley Cemetery District, and Greenville Cemetery District with Crescent Mills Cemetery District. A public hearing where the Commission where the Commission will consider consolidation of Quincy LaPorte Cemetery District and Meadow Valley Cemetery District will be held on April 17th, 2019 at 10 am at the County's Board of Supervisors' Chambers.
